Our animals are raise on certified organic grass only. The grass diet produces a product that contains about 6 times more conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) than grain-fed beef. It’s the CLA that provides the beneficial omega 3-9 ratios needed to lower the risk of diabetes, heart disease, obesity and cancer.

The organic status means the land these animals were raised and fed on was not treated with chemicals or pesticides. It also means these animals are treated in a humane manner all their life. They had access to pasture, water, shade and protection from harsh winter storms.

These animals have a natural diet of lush pastures and fresh water in the spring-fall and are fed quality hay during the winter. The only other supplement is salt and mineral. Since it is strict grass based diet, these animals never had access to feed supplements that may contain other animal parts, nor any antibiotics or synthetic growth hormones. There is no chance of exposure to the cause of mad-cow disease from eating our beef. The grass-fed also produces a special, more flavorful meat product.
